Core to the training of Harborview Fellowship is the Freedom Intensive. These three classes make up the Operating System of the church. Take these courses in order as they build on each other.
- Living Set Free: “Freedom” is at the heart of the life and message of Jesus Christ, and the mission of His followers. Living Free can help you identify where, why, and how you live in bondages of the enemy instead of in God’s freedom and hope. Through Christ’s power, you can break out of those bondages to live in the freedom Jesus purchased for you by His death and resurrection.
- Hearing God’s Voice: Does God really speak today? Can we hear Him? Sometimes, if we receive a providential answer to our prayers, we do have the sense that Someone, somewhere, is listening to us. But is it possible that we can also listen to that Someone? Is it possible that He has a voice, and that we can train our ears to hear and respond to Him? According to the Scriptures, that is precisely the case. In fact, hearing from God is perfectly normal – at least it ought to be for every one of His children. It’s the way God designed it all along!
- Freedom Prayer Training: This the third component of the Sycamore Commission’s Freedom Series and is a powerful way to apply the biblical principles found in Living Free and Hearing God’s Voice. The training you’ll receive in this two-part course will equip you to help people encounter God’s love and truth and be released into the freedom God designed for His children. Each chapter and session of the course includes dynamic, relevant teaching as well as practical application in demonstrating God’s love and freedom through powerful hands-on prayer ministry. In this first course manual—Freedom Prayer Training — you will learn how to participate on a prayer team, and accurately discern and communicate God’s heart for individuals.
