WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SPIRIT-LED?

LIFE LED BY THE SOUL

Prior to conversion, we can only operate by our soul – our own mind, will, and emotions – we live apart from the life and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Apostle Paul describes this as living by our “flesh”

“For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other…” Galatians 5:17

Romans 8:7a: “For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God…”
