Finding out more

Thanks for wanting to help with worship at Harborview!
(We like you already!)

What are the requirements for being considered?

First of all, it's important to us that the people on the team are committed to following the Lord Jesus and committed to being a part of this body of believers. So, for us that includes…
  • Agreeing with HF’s statement of faith
  • Attending HF regularly for at least 6 months
  • Completing the Living Set Free class, and
  • Attending an “In Focus” weekend (intro to the leaders and beliefs at HF)

We also want people who are passionate about worship and feel called to help out and who are:
  • Available
  • Faithful
  • Teachable
  • Enjoyable
  • Responsible

Time commitments to consider

Full disclosure: There is also a significant time commitment for weekends when you’re on the team:
  • Saturday Evenings:
    • Rehearsal 4:00 – 6:00pm
    • Dinner 6:00 – 6:30pm (we feed you)
    • Service 6:30 – 8:00pm
  • Sunday Mornings:
    • Rehearsal 8:00 – 8:45am
    • First Service 9:00 – 10:30am
    • Second Service 11:00am – 12:30pm
  • FYI:  You’ll have an opportunity to mark yourself out for any weekend you’re not available, but when you’re scheduled, you’re on for everything that weekend.

Culture of Worship

A worship team that pursues excellence, not perfectionism.

SKILL LEVEL

Worship Team

Looking for instrumentalists and vocalists who have talent  to share.

Sound Team

If you have an interest in sound, we are able to train. Sound technicians mix the sound from the worship team both for in the room and viewers online.

Video Production and Media

Prior experience is not necessary for the video and multimedia team. Multimedia controls the slides and lyrics that go on the "big screen." While video production creates the video that sends the service to on-line viewers.

Computer Network Tech

We have lots of internet-connected equipment. From computers to cameras, there is a lot going on in the cyber-space.
